Robert Donaker is the Vice President of Operations. Prior to him starting Shamrock Promotions, he organized and ran various outdoor festivals and events. He obtained his Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management from Fontbonne University.
Mr.Donaker started Shamrock Promotions, along with his partner Jesse Finney, in July of 1998. The first event put them on the map with their "Las Vegas Style" shows. Since then he has produced over 120 events in the Midwest.
Mr. Donaker has help Shamrock Promotions reach high accreditations from the International Sports Combat Federation(ISCF), receiving the award of Promoter of the Year six times. He also is an Associate representative for the ISCF and the Missouri State Athletic Commission. He hold license with the Texas State Athletic Commission and the Nevada State Athletic Commission. He also was a huge advocate of getting Professional Mixed Martial Arts through the Missouri Legislature and approved for the state.
His resume of great event production has since landed him in a position with Chuck Norris's World Combat League(WCL), where he is charge of all live event production. Also he works with the television product staff on getting the event produced for the Versus Network. This started with the 2006 WCL league Championships on the Versus Network, and continues into the 2007-08 Season.
He recently has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Rumbletime Promotions and also the Xtreme Fight Party LLC. Both of these organizations are working on getting the best fighters and also a combination of MMA and Boxing events, to the mainstream audience. Since being on the board these companies have placed events on Fox Sports Midwest, Sun Network, New York Sports Channel, and various networks over seas. They also are working on getting ESPN and other major networks to air Midwest fighting.
Mr. Donaker has used his contacts to give back to the community. Shamrock Promotions has put on events the last 5 years to help the Shriner's Hospital. This event is held in his hometown of Springfield, IL and helps the local Shrine Temple raise money to run there organization, which lets them give more to the Hospitals.
The overall goal Mr. Donaker has for Shamrock Promotions is to bring the best fighters to the Midwest. By bringing the best fighters this will produce the best fights, and in turn benefits the fight fans.
