Shamrock Promotions LLC. was found on July 2 1999, by Jesse Finney and Robert Donaker. Soon after the first Midwest Fight Fest took place. On July 11 1999 to a sold out crowd on 700 people Shamrock Promotions made its mark as on the top Fight Promotions Company in St. Louis, MO.

Shamrock Promotions wanted to give the fight fans in the Midwest something that was only seem on TV, Las Vegas look and feel. The idea of "Las Vegas Style fights" went over with amazing acceptance to the fight fans of St. Louis. After about a year Shamrock was ready to expand, their fan base and moved to a new location. The 2 Hearts Banquet Hall was a bigger venue than the Carpenters Plaza, which is where the Flagship event took place. Now increasing to over 800 spectators, this place was short lived due to the great demand for tickets.

In late 2001 Shamrock Promotions had become the top Fight Promotion company in St. Louis, now at the top Shamrock had to stay there. Moving for the 3rd time to accommodate the demand for tickets, Shamrock moved to Union Plaza. Once there they introduced a step up to the "Las Vegas" fight atmosphere. Now adding more lights and a full time audio/visual company, the fights took off more than expected. After staying there for 2 years, it was time to move on.

In late 2002, Lucky's Night Club was host to the Midwest Fight Fest. Plus we added a Tuesday Night Fight Night, that was held every Tuesday. Also we add the Shrine Fight Night, this was an event held in Springfield, IL for the Ansar Shrine Temple.

In 2005 Shamrock moved to the South Broadway Athletic Club. The fights once again were sell outs. So once again to accommodate fans we moved to Stratford Inn, and having been selling out the events.

Shamrock Promotions has since branched out to promote fights in Kansas City and other events in the St. Louis area. For the second year we have put on events for the Ritz Carlton Cigar Club. This is a great event and you can see pictures in the Photo gallery. Shamrock promotions has been a 3 year winner of the IKF/ISCF Promoters of the Year. Shamrock Promotions has produced great fighters, and have promoted them and help them to become the fighters they are today. Some notable fighters are: Kevin Engel, Mark Mayfield, Titus Taylor, Justin Lawrence.
